The Hess Experience,
Tour & Luncheon:

Daily at 11:00 am, $165 per person (Plus Tax and 20% Service Fee)

Begin your experience with a guided tour through our historic Mount Veeder Visitor Center and Contemporary Art Museum. After which the Hess Collection Executive Chef Chad Hendrickson will present you with a farm-to-table three-course luncheon featuring menu items from the winery’s culinary gardens, paired with Hess Collection Napa Valley wines from estate vineyards on Mount Veeder. Lunch will be served in our private dining room with sweeping views of our Veeder Hills vineyards.

Your dining experience begins with a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception followed by a docent led tour through our historic Mount Veeder Visitor Center and Contemporary Art Museum. Then Hess Collection Executive Chef, Chad Hendrickson, will present you with a three-course dinner featuring holiday inspired, locally sourced, and produce from our organic culinary gardens. Dinner is paired with Hess Collection Napa Valley and Icon wines from estate vineyards on Mount Veeder.

Vine to Table excursion & Luncheon:

This experience begins with a guided ATV vineyard ride through the historic Mont La Salle vineyard, exploring a range of Napa Green sustainable practices. After which the Hess Collection Executive Chef Chad Hendrickson will present you with a farm-to-table three-course luncheon featuring menu items from the winery’s culinary gardens, paired with Hess Collection Napa Valley wines from estate vineyards on Mount Veeder. Lunch will be served in our  private dining room with sweeping views of our Veeder Hills vineyards.

This is a moderate ATV ride; appropriate footwear is strongly recommended, as is sun protection and eye wear. 5 Guest Maximum in ATV. Walking tour available for groups of 6 or more. 

Vineyard Excursion:
Wine & Cheese Pairing

Available Spring through Fall
Offered Daily at 1:00 pm, $135 per person

This experience begins with a guided ATV vineyard tour through the historic Mont La Salle vineyard, exploring a range of Napa Green sustainable practices. After which you enjoy an estate wine presentation paired with Artisan cheeses served with seasonal fruits, nuts, and items from the winery’s culinary gardens, selected by Hess Executive Chef Chad Hendrickson.  Please allow 120 minutes for this tour and tasting experience.

This is a moderate ATV ride; appropriate footwear is strongly recommended, as is sun protection and eye wear. 5 Guest Maximum in ATV. Walking tour available for groups of 6 or more. 

Vineyard EXCURSION & TASTING:

This 90 minute experience begins with a guided ATV vineyard ride through the historic Mont La Salle vineyard, exploring a range of Napa Green sustainable practices. Including the organically farmed Brother Timothy old vine Cabernet block planted in 1936 through more recent blocks. Explore different trellising practices, spacing and viticulture approaches to mountain farming before enjoying a tasting of current release Mount Veeder wines.

This is a moderate ATV ride; appropriate footwear is strongly recommended, as is sun protection and eye wear. 5 Guest Maximum in ATV. Walking tour available for groups of 6 or more. 

Tour Of The Palate:

A guided tour of The Hess Collection Art Museum, featuring works from Donald Hess’ private collection, and pairing of three current release wines expertly matched with three exquisite creations from The Hess Collection’s Executive Chef, Chad Hendrickson.

Tour, Wine & Cheese Pairing:

Daily at 11:30 am and 3:00 pm
$75 per person

Begin with a guided tour of The Hess Collection, followed by a current release wine presentation paired with Artisan cheeses served with seasonal fruits and nuts selected by Hess Executive Chef Chad Hendrickson.  Please allow 90 minutes for this tour and tasting experience.

Tour, Wine & Chocolate Indulgence:

Daily at 3:30 pm, $65 per person.

Following a guided tour of the Hess Collection, indulge in a current release wine tasting of four wines paired with artisan truffles developed and handcrafted in-house by our Sous Chef, Eric Martinez. This is a unique and educational experience. Please allow 90 minutes for this tour and tasting experience.

Museum Walk:

Daily at 10:15 am, $35 per person.

A guided tour of The Hess Collection Art Museum, featuring works from Donald Hess’ private collection with an optional complimentary tasting of current release wines in the tasting room immediately following.

Elevated Tasting:

Daily at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm
$45 per person.

Following a brief tour with your dedicated host, delight in a guided tasting of special wines not found on our public tasting menu.

Underneath vines of wisteria, surrounded by contemporary sculptures and beautifully landscaped gardens, savor an offering of locally sourced artisan cheeses plated for the enjoyment of two. Created by our Executive Chef, Chad Hendrickson. Choose from a menu of wines, specifically chosen for the pairing. Wines sold separately.

We ask that no outside food be brought on to the property.
