Our top priority here at the winery is—and has always been—the safety and comfort of our guests and staff. Considering new guidance from California government officials, we have decided to temporarily close our tasting room until further notice effective today, Monday, March 16.
We remain dedicated to bringing our wines to you to enjoy in the comfort of your home. We recognize that right now you may feel more comfortable shopping online, so we are offering $1.00 ground shipping on every order of 6 bottles or more. At The Hess Collection, the safety and comfort of our guests and team members has always been of paramount importance. As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has spread, and we navigate the evolving situation together, we want to take this opportunity to update you on what we’re doing to minimize risks and address any questions you may have about upcoming Napa visits.
Visiting our Tasting Room
Under the direction of the State of California, effective immediately we will temporarily close the Visitors Center for all tastings and experiences until further notice. The safety and well-being of our community is most important and we appreciate your understanding during this time of uncertainty. For future reservations, we look forward to seeing you! Know that we are committed to providing you with a best-in-class experience. That said, we also understand the need for flexibility during this time. Keeping our Tasting Room clean and safe
We’ve always taken cleanliness very seriously here on Mount Veeder. On top of our regular cleaning procedures, we’re making our routines more rigorous by sanitizing surfaces with products proven to be effective against the COVID-19 virus. When open, this extends to careful sterilization of all wine glasses and service ware and cleaning all surfaces in between each tasting guest. Rest assured that we’ve implemented a hand-sanitizing and stay-at-home protocols for our valued team of employees should there be any question of someone’s health.
Access to Hess wines
We’re focusing our efforts on supporting our winery-direct services like ordering online and providing customer phone support. We’re also working to make sure the wines you love are available to you at your grocery and wine shop shelves. And with the support of our fulfillment partners, we are confident in our continued ability to deliver wine to our distributors, retailers, and members.
