taste + style

“The Stagecoach Vineyard has been our home for our Small Block Series Syrah for several vintages. The grapes produce a wine with welcoming aromas and flavors of black and blue fruits led by blueberries and decadent black cherry, accented by spicy cloves, anise and evident vanilla and cedar. We used French Oak used to tame the tannins, which are rich and round, giving fullness to the Syrah that works extremely well with a wide array of food.” -Dave Guffy, Director of Winemaking

Vineyard + Production

The sustainably framed Stagecoach Vineyard is located in the mountains above Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District. Ranging between 1,200 and 1,750 feet in elevation, the. mountain vineyard is above the fog, with the rocky soils and minerality creating distinct aromas and flavors in the grapes grown there. French Oak was used to tame the tannins, which are rich and round, giving a fullness to the Syrah.
