Varietal Overview

Our Small Block Syrah Rosé is a blend of Syrah from the Stagecoach Vineyard located in the mountains above Napa’s Stag Leap District and Petite Sirah from our Allomi Vineyard in Northeast Napa Valley. Light, bracing and refreshing, our Rosé is a bit richer in color, with wonderful aromas and flavors of cherry, strawberry and dried cherries.

taste + style

“This dry Rosé is a blend of Syrah from the Stagecoach Vineyard located in the mountains above Napa’s Stag Leap District and Petite Sirah from our Allomi Vineyard in the northeast Napa Valley. Both vineyards are sustainably farmed. Dry Rosé is surely one of those perfect wines to enjoy as the Sun goes down on a warm Napa Valley day. Light, bracing and refreshing, this vintage is a bit richer in color, with wonderful aromas and flavors of cherry, strawberry and dried cherries. Not at all sweet, it’s meant to be well chilled.” –Dave Guffy, Director of Winemaking

Vineyard + Production

Our dry Rosé is a blend of Syrah from the Stagecoach Vineyard and select blocks of Petite Sirah from our Allomi Vineyard in northeast Napa Valley. Located in the mountains above Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District, the Stagecoach Vineyard ranges between 1,200 and 1,750 feet in elevation. The mountain vineyard is above the fog, with the rocky soils and minerality creating distinct aromas and flavors in the grapes grown there.

Food + Wine Pairing

“The wine pairs well with salty/sweet combinations like prosciutto, melon and Manchego cheese or fresh field greens with raspberry vinaigrette and feta cheese.” –Chad Hendrickson, Executive Chef
