Vineyard: A rare opportunity arose in 2006. Early harvest rains and cool, foggy mornings created perfect conditions for Botrytis to develop in our Su'skol vineyard. The yield of our Su'skol Chardonnay was severely reduced because of this infection. A "late" harvest - well after the normal picking was dedicated to collecting the the affected extremely sweet clusters.
Tasting Notes: Orange blossom, dried apricot, marzipan, and honeycomb compose the aroma. The palate is rich and tastes of green apple. Its sweetness is balanced with refreshing acidity.
