Tasting Notes: The 2009 Allomi Petite Sirah is driven by dark fruits, with aromas of boysenberry jam and graham cracker. A purity of fruit explodes on the palate in a remarkable expression of this grape variety. Often used in distinctive red wine blends to accentuate deep rich colors and a lush mouthfeel, we set aside a few of our favorite barrels to offer as a singularly expressive Petite Sirah, worthy of its own bottling.
