Hess Allomi Cabernet Sauvignon

Vintage: 2010
Appellation: Napa Valley
Analysis: Alcohol: 13.7% | pH: 3.74 | TA: .60 g/100mL
Aging: 16 months in American oak (25% new)
Vineyard: Hess Napa Valley Allomi Vineyard at an altitude of 770-950 feet
Tasting Notes: Graham cracker, cinnamon, and cedar intertwine with currant and boysenberry both in the nose and on the palate. Up-front fruit on the entry transitions easily to a mid palate of
finesse and balance. The fine-grained tannins in the finish are pleasing now, but will reward those who can wait a few more years of aging in the cellar!
