Bodega Colomé Reserva

The Colomé Reserva is made from the oldest vines at Colomé. Imported from France in the 1850’s, these Malbec vines continue to grow on their original roots, having escaped the phylloxera blight which destroyed numerous vineyards throughout the world. These ancient vines are very low yielding, producing about ½ ton per acre. Inky and black in color the wine has intense, concentrated aromas of licorice, clove and molasses. Flavors of blackberry, mocha and chocolate ganache are punctuated by the silky, velvety finish. Enjoy over the next five to eight years.
