Bodega Colomé
Donald Hess’ vision for mountain wines began in the 1980's on Mount Veeder in the Napa Valley. Since then, his vision has evolved and is realized in the redevelopment Bodega Colomé.
Founded in 1831, Bodega Colomé is one of the oldest working wineries in Argentina. The core of the vineyards include Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon vines imported in 1854 from Bordeaux, France (pre-phylloxera) planted on their original roots. The biodynamically farmed vineyards range from 7,218 feet to 9,892 feet above sea level in the Salta Province.
